HCC to host Earth Day celebration

The public is invited to attend an Earth Day celebration at Hagerstown Community College on Wednesday, April 22, from 12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m., by the fountain in front of the recently renovated Career Programs Building.
     
The free event will feature a musical performance by acoustic musician and HCC adjunct instructor Jennie Avila, original poetry by HCC students, and a performance by students from HCC’s Children Learning Center. Following these performances, the new fountain will be officially turned on for the first time.
