HCC hosts financial aid night for high school students

This February, Hagerstown Community College will host a free financial aid seminar entitled, “You Can Afford College,” on Thursday, Feb. 5, from 6:30 to 9 p.m., in HCC’s Kepler Theater.
     
The seminar is intended for Washington County Public High School students in eleventh and twelfth grades, but juniors and seniors from all schools, including home schooled students, are welcome. Seminar topics include simplifying the concept of paying for college, sharing a general financial planning strategy for dealing with college costs, and showing how the financial aid process can relate to real life family situations. Light refreshments will be provided.
