The Technical Innovation Center (TIC) at Hagerstown Community College is offering a small business outlook and opportunities seminar on Friday, Dec. 12, at 12 noon, in TIC room 208.
The seminar is specifically designed to help small business owners navigate through difficult economic times. The seminar will be conducted by Shelby Penn, Edward Jones financial advisor, and Mike McGinley, certified public accountant. Discussion topics will include the current economic outlook, the impact of political and social events on financial markets and how small businesses will be affected by those impacts, as well as the importance of maintaining a long-term investment strategy to protect your finances.
This seminar is free and open to the public, but participants are asked to register by Monday, December 8 due to limited seating. A light lunch will be provided. For more information or to register, call 301-790-2800, ext. 399.
