HCC offers Veterans Day tour of war memorials

Hagerstown Community College's Center for Continuing Education is offering a one-day motor coach trip to Washington, D.C. entitled, “Gems of Washington Tour: In Honor of Our Veterans,” on Monday, Nov. 10.
     
The tour, conducted by Washington, D.C. tour director and retired naval intelligence officer Carol Bessette, will encompass a variety of war memorials, including the World War II Memorial, the FDR Memorial, the Navy Memorial and the Marine Corps Memorial. Cost is $70. Fee includes fully equipped motor coach transportation and gratuity, buffet-style lunch at the Vantage Point Restaurant in Rosalyn, Va., and a private, guided tour of the war memorials. Motor coach departs from Valley Mall at 8 a.m.
