HCC offers entrepreneurship seminar on November 6

The Technical Innovation Center (TIC) at Hagerstown Community College will offer the fourth installment of its executive entrepreneurial seminar series on Thurs., Nov. 6, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the TIC, conference room 208. The seminar is entitled, “Dealing with Opportunities and Threats,” and will include a Stanford Executive Briefings topic review by Clayton Christensen.
Christensen will discuss how the creation of new technologies has enabled growth in areas that often required outside consultants to maintain. Christensen will also explain how to manage technological innovation and find new markets for current and changing technologies.
The deadline to register for the seminar is Fri., Oct. 31. Cost is $25, which includes materials and refreshments. For more information or to register, call 301-790-2800, ext. 399.
