Notary Public principles and practices course offered

Hagerstown Community College’s Center for Continuing Education is offering a two-part course on notary public principles and practices on Mon., Oct. 13 and Tues., Oct. 14, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. in HCC’s Valley Mall Center.
Taught by HCC instructor Joe Cunningham, this course will discuss the correct practices and procedures to operate within Maryland notary law. Topics include history, definitions, responsibilities, and professional organizations available for career advancement. This course is intended for those who desire to become a notary as well as the already commissioned notary who wants a better understanding of his appointment.
