HCC’s Robinwood Players present “The Goodbye Girl”
Submitted by Leigh-Anne Mauk on Fri, 07/25/2008 - 12:00am
Hagerstown Community College’s Robinwood Players will perform their summer show, "The Goodbye Girl," on Fri., Aug. 15 and Sat., Aug. 16, at 8 p.m., in HCC’s Kepler Theater.
Based on the 1977 movie, “The Goodbye Girl” is a modern, romantic comedy that follows Paula McFadden, a single mother struggling to provide for herself and her young daughter after her boyfriend leaves her, and Elliott Garfield, a down-and-out actor that sublets her apartment based on an agreement he had with McFadden’s former boyfriend. Known for its catchy songs and humorous, witty script, “The Goodbye Girl” is a favorite among audiences and theater-goers. The show is rated PG-13 for language.
Advance tickets are available now through August 15 at the HCC bookstore and will also be available at the door prior to each show. General admission is $7 and HCC students and employees get in for free.
For advance tickets, call 301-790-2800, ext. 271. For more information, contact Dave Dull at dulld@hagerstowncc.edu.
