U.S. Air Force Silver Wings perform at HCC

The Hagerstown Community College Alumni Association will host the U.S. Air Force Silver Wings as part of its annual Red, White and Blue Concert Series, on Sun., June 1, at 4 p.m., in HCC’s Alumni Amphitheater.
Silver Wings is a seven-member classic and contemporary country band under the direction of guitarist Master Sergeant Matthew Ascione. Based in the greater Washington D.C. area, the Silver Wings are regularly featured at the U.S. Capitol, the Pentagon, and the White House, and have performed all over the United States. The Silver Wings have also participated in the U.S. Air Force Band’s Guest Artist Concert Series, and have performed alongside artists such as Ricky Skaggs, Roy Clark, Jennifer Wilson and Tom Wopat.
