Arabic language class offered at HCC

Hagerstown Community College is now offering a course titled “Elementary Arabic I” for students wishing to learn the fundamentals of Modern Standard Arabic. The course will also introduce some Egyptian dialect. Class starts Monday, January 14, 2008, and will meet Mondays and Wednesdays from 6 to 7:40 p.m.
     
The course includes instruction in grammar, writing Arabic script, and sentence structure. Students will also study Arabic customs and culture.
