Submitted by Leigh-Anne Mauk on Thu, 05/24/2007 - 12:00am
Hagerstown Community College’s College for Kids summer enrichment program is offering kids going into first grade an insider’s look at the circus during a week-long class titled, “The Circus is in Town.” The class will be held June 25 through 29, and again July 9 through 13.
Participants will learn about circus animals and musical instruments, star in a circus parade, see what a day in the life of a clown is like, and eat yummy circus foods.
Class meets Monday through Friday from 8:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. Class size is limited to 14 students. To learn more and to register, call 301-790-2800, ext. 236.
