Nursing Academy at HCC this summer

Hagerstown Community College’s College For Kids summer program is offering a week-long Nursing Academy August 7 through 11 from 8:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. on HCC’s main campus.
The Nursing Academy is for students going into grades 6 through 8 who are interested in nursing. Forensic nurse, Joyce Williams, will instruct students on the “whats, wheres and whys” of nursing, including first aid, disaster preparedness, forensic science, medical terminology, disease identification and treatments.
