Effortless gardening techniques offered through HCC

The Center for Continuing Education at Hagerstown Community College will offer a workshop entitled, “Effortless Gardening,” on Saturday, April 29, from 1 to 5 p.m., in the garden at the Synergy Healing Arts Center in Blue Ridge Summit, Pa.
Participants will discover how to perform basic gardening tasks using proper body mechanics to increase flexibility and avoid strain and pain. The course is taught by Robert Hunter, a certified Feldenkrais instructor.
The course fee is $35 for senior adults and $39 for others, with a $5 registration fee. To register or learn more, call 301-790-2800, ext. 236.
