PTK raises money for Tsunami Relief
Submitted by Leigh-Anne Mauk on Wed, 02/16/2005 - 1:00am
Hagerstown Community College’s Pi Theta, local chapter of the honor society Phi Theta Kappa, will hold a used book/yard sale on Saturday, March 19, from 8 a.m. to noon on the first floor of the Career Programs Building.
PTK will be renting tables for $15 each. Money raised will be donated to support tsunami relief efforts.
HCC’s annual Flower & Garden show will be going on in the ARCC on the same day, so there should be a good flow of traffic on campus for the event. Vendors are asked not to sell plants or flowers at the book/yard sale.
To reserve a table, or to donate new or used books or items for the yard sale, contact Ms. Thornhill at 301-790-2800, ext. 481.
