A transfer advisor from UMUC will be on campus to meet with interested students from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Valley Eatery (upper level, Career Programs Building). No appointment necessary.

The UMUC advisor will be on campus every Thursday from Jan. 27 through May 5 (except for Thurs., March 10 due to Spring Break).

Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) is sponsoring a free scholarship workshop on Tues., Oct. 19, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the Valley Eatery (upper level Career Programs Building).

Scholarship topics include:

    * Is it worth it?
    * Where do I start?
    * Who can assist me?
    * What information do I need for scholarship applications?
    * How do I navigate CollegeFish?

The HCC Service Club will be selling breast cancer awareness bracelets from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Valley Eatery (upper level Career Programs Building). Bracelets are $2 each. Proceeds benefit the HCC Step N Stride team which will walk in the Step N Stride event on Sat., Oct. 23.
