National Earth Day Campus Garden Pride Day: Help beautify the campus gardens between 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and/or 1 p.m.  to 4 p.m. Lunch and a free t-shirt will be available for all volunteers. E-mail Irene Young to volunteer: ieyoung@hagerstowncc.edu

Earth Day Celebration: 11:30 a.m. outside the Career Programs Building - entertainment and remarks from the HCC administration about Earth Day.

Keep our campus beautiful and litter-free and help pick up trash from HCC’s lawns, parking lots, and roads. Stop by the Student Center lobby between 11a.m. - 1 p.m. to pick up gloves and trash bags. An ice cream sundae station will be open for all Campus Clean-Up volunteers!

How much can HCC students, faculty, and staff recycle in one week? Follow the blue and green signs in each building to locate the closest recycling bins.Then stop by the Student Center mid-week to be amazed by how much plastic, glass, and aluminum we have prevented from  ending up in the landfill! HCC student groups will collect recyclables during Earth Week.
