Faculty, Mechanical Engineering Technology

The Faculty, Mechanical Engineering Technology position will be responsible for instructing the following courses:

• Mechanics
• Strength of Materials
• Machine Design
• CNC
• Hydraulics and Pneumatics
• CAD I, CAD II, CAD III

This position is also responsible for recruiting students into the MET and MET/CAD programs, facilitating articuation of MET courses with secondary education and bachelor degree level education, facilitating two MET advisory meetings in an academic year, maintaining a close association with local industry to create a direct pipeline of students into the industry, providing guidance for MET internship experiences, advising MET students, and continually maintaining professional development in MET.

Qualifications: 

Education and experience - Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, with experience in CAD. Masters degree preferred. Skills and Abilities - Ability to teach the following courses: Mechanics, Introducation to CNC Programming, Strength of Materials, Machine Design, Hydraulics and Pneumatics, Computer-Aided Design I, Computer-Aided Design II, CAD III: Architecture, and CAD III: Mechanical.
