HCC's Networking Technology Program was honored at the 13th Annual Colloquium for Information Systems Education by the National Security Agency (NSA) and the Committee on National Security Systems.

Join the beach scene at the Student Center with caricature drawings, summer music, and more from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Don't miss the wacky fun on the other side of campus as Paul Plays It All performs live from the Valley Eatery patio outside the Career Programs Building from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Paul promises a lot of comedy, singing, and audience participation so don't miss it!

Travel-oriented Italian course offered at HCC

Travel-oriented Italian

Taught by native Italian Elsa Bradford, students will be introduced to the fundamentals of Italian language and will develop the necessary pronunciation skills and learn the essential vocabulary and patterns of dialogue needed for real-life situations that are offered encountered when traveling to a foreign country.

Beginner's Spanish class offered at Fort Ritchie

Learn Spanish at Fort Ritchie

Taught by HCC instructor Gaby McCardell, this course focuses on teaching students a wide variety of Spanish phrases, expressions, and questions for use in everyday interactions and conversations, with a special emphasis on key phrases that are useful when traveling to Spanish-speaking countries or when working in Spanish-speaking communities.

Learn to dance at HCC

Dance Classes - all ages

Intermediate-level courses include “Dancing Like Stars,” which is offered on Wednesdays, from 7 to 9:30 p.m., beginning Sept. 16; “Find Pleasure in Social Ballroom – Intermediate,” which is offered on Tuesdays, from 8:15 to 9:30 p.m., beginning Sept. 8; and “Intermediate Social Ballroom,” which is offered on Tuesdays, from 10 to 11 a.m., beginning Sept. 8. Intermediate courses are designed for those who have previous ballroom dancing experience.

Hagerstown Community College’s Center for Continuing Education is offering a 60-hour class specially designed towards providing students with the knowledge to take and pass the Maryland State Insurance Exam to obtain a life and health insurance license.
